Look, we're NEVER going to say domestic violence is funny, because it's not.  And yet . . . we still found ourselves laughing at this. So I guess we can all go to hell together...

It happened last week in New Port Richey, Florida (just north of Tampa and St. Petersburg).  Last week a woman there, whose name wasn't released, called the cops; she told them her husband of five years, 39-year-old Christopher L. Bukowski, had tried to STRANGLE her.

When the cops came, Christopher told them, quote, "Arrest me.  I did it."  They asked him WHY he tried to strangle his wife and he told them, quote, "If you were married, you would understand."

Christopher was arrested and charged with domestic battery by strangulation.
There's no word on his wife's condition.
